This relationship has been interpreted as a romantic relationship, especially in the film versions. ![]() What makes this book so disturbing is the relationships between the two main characters: Oskar and Eli. The book is working on two levels: what is openly said/described, and what the audience is led to assume. It seems to me that both the book and the film versions have been really misunderstood. I read John Ajvide Lindqvist’s first novel “Let The Right One In” about a month ago, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. The video might be a bit more enjoyable than reading for some people. ![]() ![]() First off: this is pretty much a brief summary on why I think the book is so good, but I also made a video explaining in much more detail what makes this book so creepy and disturbing. ![]()
